Job Update

Part of moving to a new town (even though I am going to Boston to go to Grad School) is finding a job, as I sure everyone is painfully aware of. I am happy to say though, that I have found said job, and that I am actually quite excited. I was just offered the position of Asst. Soccer Coach at the Middle School level at The Winsor School. I was quite excited when I heard the news. Of course, as it is only a part time job, I will need to find another, but at least I can say I am gainfully employed. AND it is doing something that I know I will enjoy, and feel I know a bit about. I knew spending my entire childhood devoted to one activity would come in handy one day.

EDIT: It turns out that I will be coaching the middle school A team with a woman named Becca. Did I say I was incredibly excited?!

Sarah, I demand you be more interesting. Take our blog as inspiration. We have already expanded the boundaries of literary travel blogs by couples to İstanbul, and I, for one, think thats pretty damn impressive.

For shame, my dear, for shame.

ps: I had a writing idea actually inspired by our travels today. I was afraid I'd be too busy for such things. Just thought I'd share.

Sarah?!?!?

Are you alive? Did Boston eat you? Were you attacked by a mob of handsome Irish soccer players? We know you're busy, and we hope everything went well with the move and school is going well. Much love!

I am here. I am in the process of trying to be more interesting. Trust me, I will be using the Tales from Abroad...and a Gent blog as inspiration, and i think cross over posts are a must (yes, just like with Buffy and Angel except better). And sadly no, i've not been mobbed by a group of handsome Irish soccer players. In fact, of all the nationalities i've met so far, none of them have been Irish. Russian yes, Turkish yes, Asian yes, but no Irish.

Now that i am actually to my place (i really didn't get here until two days ago), i will strive to update this blog more.

And Ian, you know i am going to take those rules to heart and incorporate them into my coaching strategy.

I miss you all dearly!
